VER90, RP90: The beautiful, opaque ruby/purple-colored 2000 Fobiano is an unfiltered blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in French oak. A sweet, smoky nose of mocha, leather, tobacco, spice box, and black cherries is followed by a muscular, dense, chewy wine with surprising structure as well as tannin.
