After Auction Sale
of our 78th Autumn Fine Wine Auction until Wednesday, September 27th
Our 78th Autumn Fine Wine Auction’s catalogue was filled with great choices, so more than 80% of all lots were immediately sold. A heart felt – thank you – to all consigners and buyers around the world and all our staff and friends for another wonderful and successful wine auction.
The after sale is already running hot as is the Munich Oktoberfest – Ozapft is – which also started on this beautiful weekend. Don’t miss it, if you are in town.
The famous names from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Austria, Piedmont and Tuscany were in high demand, as were all well-known and top rated wines from around the world. Written bids from bidders of five continents fought for their desired lots.
Due to the numerous pre-bids, more than twenty of our bidders were unfortunate and did not get any of their desired lots. If this included you, don’t despair!
There are still a lot of beautiful lots from all over the world available in our:

Increasingly fewer offers of mature vintages with the demand staying high and constant,
as well as the increasing prices of the last subscription vintages ensure rising prices, especially in Bordeaux and Burgundy. The Asian wine collectors are also starting to accept optically imperfect high-end bottles for their collections. An excellent time to consign your quality wines!
